Scheduled optimize may be causing TurboLucene-based app to hang on FreeBSD 5.4.

My TurboLucene-using blog at http://krys.ca has been hanging resonably regularly. It runs on FreeBSD 5.4. This message on the PyLucene-dev mailing list makes me think that my problem might be related.
I have disabled the scheduled optimization function, to see if my blog stays up. We'll see what happens.

Blog still up. 33+hrs now. Hmm... I think we might be on to something.
Still will have to properly diagnose what is causing the hang. Still testing.
This message might be useful. I am waiting to see if my blog fails, first.
Of course, the problem could be completely unrelated.
