Ticket #18 (enhancement)

See ticket #5 for history:

"I am going to keep this ticket open, however, because I want to explore Lee's idea of specifying the analyzer data in the app.cfg, but as an override to the defaults we have now. I think it might be cleaner than my current external languages.cfg file override."

"Heh, if I go that way, then we'll end up with something very close to Lee's patch. If that happens then I will include Lee as a contributor since it was his design, in part."

I decided to put this in it's own ticket instead.
